Exchange with University of Tokyo
Hampus Berg Mårtensson has been on research exchange in Japan at the Kishita lab, University of Tokyo, with funding from Mistra SAMS.
During the research exchange in February - March, Hampus Berg Mårtensson attended a research meeting in the neighbouring city of Tsukuba and a research lunch in Yokohama.
- The most exciting mobility service I tried was the Shinkansen, which whizzed past the famous Mt Fuji, says Mistra SAMS researcher Hampus Berg Mårtensson Mårtensson.
Seminar on New Mobility Services
In connection with the exchange, Hampus Berg Mårtensson and the hosts at the University of Tokyo held a seminar on New Mobility Services. Hampus gave a presentation on Sustainable Futures of New Mobility Service. He also introduced the research programme Mista SAMS in his presentation.
Fredrika Janssen and Klara Rubin, master students in Industrial Design Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, also visited the seminar at the University of Tokyo. They gave the presentation “Shared micro-mobility systems to support sustainable mobility practices in Stockholm” at the seminar. Mistra SAMS researcher Mia Hesselgren is the supervisor for Fredrika Janssen’s and Klara Rubin’s master's degree project.
