Mistra SAMS in EIT Urban Mobility project HALLO

Mistra SAMS is participating in the EIT Urban Mobility project HALLO (Hubs for Last Mile Delivery Solutions) together with the City of Stockholm, the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, and other international partners.

There is a need for innovative last-mile delivery solutions in urban areas to help reduce the negative environmental impacts of goods transport. Barcelona will test shared urban consolidation and distribution centers in the form of micro hubs in conjunction with the use of more sustainable vehicles such as cargo bikes. Stockholm is engaged in a dialogue with stakeholders to gather input for their strategic process, and also aims to test one or more concepts in 2021.
