Mistra SAMS Policy Lab

On 10 December 2021 Mistra SAMS held its first Policy Lab-workshop at the intersection of the Citizens and Public Actor perspectives.

The theme of the workshop was: How can citizen participation contribute to the transition to sustainable mobility? The aim with the workshop was to start a process where Mistra SAMS, together with the workshop participants, began to develop ideas and forms for work with citizen participation which can both develop during the program, and continue after the program’s end.

At the workshop the discussion focused on exploring and generating ideas about the role citizen participation can play in the development of sustainable and socially just accessibility and mobility services in Riksten, Botkyrka. A follow-up workshop is planned for spring 2022.

The Policy Lab is part of an ongoing series of workshops and events which will be held by Mistra SAMS in collaboration with the program’s three main perspectives, as well as the Living Lab, and Business Model Lab.
