Mistra SAMS Phase 1, 2017-2020
Mistra SAMS has completed its first program period (Phase1) and arranged a digital result conference on April 16 2021.
Phase 1 of Mistra SAMS began to work with a socio-technical analytical approach inspired by the multi-level perspective.
This motivated the researchers to explore specific services and service innovations, with institutional conditions, users’ perspectives and broader societal structures in mind.
An important part of this work was to develop a living lab in Tullinge, with the local context and everyday life conditions as a starting point for exploring behavioral changes in a sustainable direction.
Phase 1 also began an exploration of institutional conditions, including knowledge perspectives, norms and discursive power relations, as well as a systemic assessment of potential for sustainability using different tools such as backcasting, transport modeling and time geography.
